Finally I have written a review of our : South India Highlights
January –February 2019
From start to finish the trip was superb.
Booking and communication with Tailormade Journeys was excellent. Rajiv was always just a helpful email or phone call away.
The trip was very well organized, from the first moment when we were met by a representative at the airport and our fantastic driver for the next 3 weeks , Anbu – a true gentleman and ambassador for South India; knowledgeable, friendly, kind, caring and helpful.
The Hotels were generally excellent, particularly worthy of mention for service and quality :
Tanjore -Ideal River View
Houseboat Deluxe Air Conditioned Houseboat – wonderful staff
Periyar -Cardamom County (Periyar Cottage) – excellent staff and restaurant
Munnar -Tall Tree (Cinnamon Cottage) -Location
Mysore Radisson Blu Plaza – Outstanding Restaurant staff.
The trip was a tremendous opportunity to visit parts of India new to us and to revisit parts we had previously visited. The contrasting scenery, sights and sounds of cities, lakes, waterways and the sea, temples and the tranquility of the hills.
An outstanding trip from start to finish. We wholeheartedly recommend this company .

We just wanted to write and say how brilliant our holiday was to India and to say a huge thank you for such amazing organisation.
Every pick up and drop off was to exact time and we didn’t have to worry about anything at all.
The guides we had were so friendly and have enormous knowledge, there wasn’t anything they couldn’t tell us.
We covered everything we wanted to see and appreciate the complexity of our requirements but it was all executed perfectly.
Also thank you for your intervention to finalise things with the outstanding issue with Sol de Goa, that helped us so much.
I would just like to say the quality of care and service throughout our stay was faultless, particularly at The Tuli Tiger resort in Kanha, the people there were incredible and we did see a tiger (!) and the Brijrama Palace, that was a real Palace, a beautiful location with really amazing food and such helpful people.
So thank you again, we have recommended you, your company and services to friends already and will continue to do so.

My Wife and I recently returned from our holiday in India on 22 March 2019 and wanted to send our feedback to you personally how much we enjoyed everyday of our experience. From our initial booking process you answered all questions and change requests to our itinerary and delivered the perfect in-country experience.
At every city we were met punctually by our drivers and guides. All guides were excellent, demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the sites and cities we were visiting which enriched our experience and enthusiasm.
We loved all our hotels but particularly Jas Vilas which was the most authentic and romantic all of the hotels we stayed in. Ranthambore was a dream as we saw 5 Tigers in 2 safaris (including the famous Noor and Fatha) and loved the Taj Sawai Madhopur Lodge Hotel.
Finally we wish to recognise the professionalism, courteous nature and safe driving (not easy in India eh?) of Mr Rana who kept us informed and safe on the many miles we covered over our 2 weeks. He is a great credit to Tailormade and a very professional driver.
Thank you once again for providing us with a well organised and wonderful experience. We have already recommended you to some friends who may visit India in the next year or two. If you have a “Trip Advisor” site I would be more than happy to provide a 5-star rating and feedback for all aspects of our holiday.

We arrived back home on 9 December 18 after our trip to South India. I had planned to write sooner – but with Christmas etc., I kept putting it off.
The trip was fabulous – all the arrangements went smoothly; itinerary good; the hotels (mostly) were great; the choice of Ground Operator – Personal Tours Associate – was excellent; the driver was terrific throughout; the guides were all good, two excellent; and the flights (which we booked ourselves via Emirates) all on time and mostly good too. The food was terrific (mostly) and the sights of ‘Incredible India’ absolutely incredible. All very memorable and we’d give the whole holiday a 95% score. Our stay in Dubai was a bit of a disappointment, as after being conditioned to the India way of life, it seem very brash, artificial and very very expensive. We’ll try and avoid Dubai in future.
Great sights; but best off all were the people, the people of India, themselves.
We have recommended Tailormade Journeys to all our friends.

We thank you for your patience in the plannng of this trip, as we worked hard to meticulousl plan itinerary and activities program. The agency representatives were helpful, fixing whatever needed attention promptly and efficiently. The hotels were from great to fabulous. We enjoyed the planned activities and were able to add some when desired. The drivers were very helpful, available and patient.
Such a trip can not be completely problem free. To your agency’s credit, the very few problems that did arise were rapidly addressed and fixed, to our complete satisfaction.
