Day 01 Arrive Buenos Aires

Day 02 Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires panoramic city tour will take you through the highlights of South America’s most European and cosmopolitan city. We’ll drive along 9 de Julio Avenue where the renowned Colón Theater and the Obelisk, symbols of our city, are located. We’ll visit Plaza de Mayo, surrounded by important historic buildings like the Casa Rosada, the Cathedral and the City Hall. We’ll also visit Plaza San Martin, Alvear and Plaza del Congreso. The tour will drive us along the old fashion Avenida de Mayo and the dynamic Avenida Corrientes. Explore neighborhoods filled with colors and history, like La Boca and San Telmo, and the sumptuous neighborhoods of Palermo, Recoleta and the modern Puerto Madero, a busy gastronomic and entertainment center. Among other highlights of the tour we’ll pass by Parque Lezama, Tres de Febrero, commercial and financial areas plus La Bombonera, boca’s football stadium.
Tonight Tango Show with Dinner: we will watch the authentic roots and the pure essence of the Argentine tango in a full show of music, singing and dancing of top artistic quality.

Day 03 Buenos Aires – Ushuaia (By Flight)

Transferred to Buenos Aires to board flight for Ushuaia. Upon arrival in Ushuaia Airport you are met and transferred to your pre booked Hotel

Day 04 Ushuaia

Tierra del Fuego & Train Fin del Mundo: It is located 12 km to the west of Ushuaia city near the Chilean border. In the national park, we will watch the local flora composed by Lengas, cherry tree, Ñires and different species of shrubs and flowers. Ensenada bay and Roca Lake are some of the highlights of this tour. We will also do a short walk along the shore of the lake to try to see one of the inhabitants of the park: the beavers; and also will reach Lapataia bay, located at the end of National route Nº3 and 3063 km from the city of Buenos Aires. We depart from the Ushuaia’s municipal camping site. This is the departing point for the trains which, then, follow the winding Pipo River edge that goes into Tierra del Fuego National Park. This is the same route as the prison train used to take. Here we can appreciate the used tree trunks: loyal witnesses of that time when Ushuaia used to be a penal colony. Some very funny carriages from the beginning of last century take us to revive a part of this land history.

Day 05 Ushuaia

Beagle Channel: Spend a day outside of Ushuaia, discovering the natural wonders of the Tierra del Fuego province and learning about the culture and history of the region. On a catamaran cruise, you’ll go island-hopping through the famous Beagle Channel and marvel at the stunning flora and fauna, including penguins and sea lions.

Day 06 Ushuaia – El Calafate (By Flight)

Day 07 El Calafate

FD Glaciar Perito Moreno: This park has been declared as Mankind Heritage by UNESCO. Those glaciers that named it (about 47) show us a 10 thousand-year-old world: cold and wild. The most famous one is Perito Moreno Glacier in the southwestern end of Argentino Lake at 80 km away from El Calafate. This glacier is so-called due to a great Argentinian explorer from last century and is one of the few glaciers that is still moving in the world. That is why it has become one of the most spectacular natural shows in South America. From time to time its 60-m-high snout releases some ice walls as huge as buildings that fall into Rico Bend or Canal de los Témpanos (Ice floes Channel) and then they continue sailing along the channel to the main area of the lake. However, that is not all. The glacier, while moving forward, comes closer to the Magallanes Peninsula, in the opposite lake bank as well as footbridge and viewpoint area. This cycle takes from 4 to 6 years and it eventually separates the lake into two areas. Rico Bend is dammed up and it increases about 35 m over its average level. Its water slowly pierces its way through the glacier snout until it makes it fall down. This show is breathtaking.

Day 08 El Calafate

FD Rivers of Ice: Take a fabulous catamaran trip on Lake Argentino, sail through icebergs and amazing landscapes and get spectacular views on Upsala Glacier, Seco Glacier and Spegazzini Glacier. Lunch box included.

Day 9 El Calafate – Bariloche (By Flight)

Transferred to El Calafate Airport to board flight for Bariloche. Upon arrival in Bariloche Airport you are met and transferred to your pre booked Hotel
HD Cerro Catedral is the most prominent ski resort in the southern hemisphere. Located approximately 20 km from downtown Bariloche, we will travel to Mount Catedral located about 1000 meters above sea level. It’s the perfect place to enjoy great skiing and awe inspiring views.

Day 10 Bariloche

FD Isla Victoria: Your journey begins at Puerto Pañuelo, a lake harbor located 25 km outside town, opposite Hotel Llao Llao. Board a boat to sail 30 minutes across Lake Nahuel Huapi to Puerto Anchorena.. Then enjoy a comfortable chairlift ride to the top of Cerro Bella Vista where you’ll have panoramic views of Bahía Anchorena and the entire Llao Llao Hotel/Puerto Pañuelo area. Leave from Puerto Anchorena on a guided nature walk; it is also possible to take on your own along marked trails. The most outstanding hikes are the former National Nursery Trail, the “Antonio Pargade” Interpretation Trail, Pto. Gross, Old Settlement, Cave Paintings, Playa del Toro, and the Balcony on Cerro Bella Vista, among others. You can’t go wrong when every corner of the island is host to it’s own variety of magnificent views, rich history and impressive natural surroundings, make the walks thoroughly enjoyable. An interesting sector of the Arrayanes Forest hosts a beautiful wooden cottage built deep inside. A classic sight, this wooden house has been photographed countless times by visitors. This sector of the forest is said to have been visited by the famous American cartoonist and film maker Walt Disney who was inspired by the amazing landscape to create the film Bambi. You’re invited to enter the cottage for a tea and snack or to purchase handicrafts and souvenirs. At the end of the trail you will find a visitor center where you can ask the national park rangers any questions you may have. Also nearby you’ll have the chance to take a short walk to beautiful Patagua Lagoon with its pebble beaches.

Day 11 Bariloche – Buenos Aires – Iguazu (By Flight)

Day 12 Iguazu

Argentinean Falls: At the entrance the passenger will take a small train for a visit through the park with 2 stops until the trail where the walking tour begins to the visit the upper walkways, which allow for more intimate contact with the falls and the rainforest. The highlight of the trip is a visit to the suspended platform at the very brink of the abysmal Devil’s Throat – the largest fall. This trip shows you the highlights of the Argentinean side.
Gran Aventura: The Great Adventure is unique, and combines the whole essence of the Iguassu National Park in one ride: the jungle and the waterfalls.It starts by entering the jungle from the “Sendero Yacaratía” trail with special transportation that allows a panoramic view of the environment along with experienced guides that give a lot of explanations as well as the legend of this spectacular place. After an 8 km truck ride, we arrive at the Puerto Macuco Base, which is 100 meters away from the Infirmary and Service Station, and 100 meters of stairs ahead is the floating platform where the second part of this ride begins. With motor-boats, we take visitors 6 km through the Canyon of the Iguassu River, until the falls, from these total, 2 km are river rapids. After enjoying the view from the calm side of San Martin Island we sail to the “Tres Mosqueteros” waterfall, at that point, the Brazilian and Argentinean sides and the Devil’s Throat can be clearly appreciated. After that, we sail along the shore of the island until we get to the most exciting part where we face the San Martin waterfall, a wonderful and unforgettable experience, for it’s the largest waterfall any motor-boat can approach safely. The landing is at the base of the lower circuit where visitors reintegrate the trails.
